World Equestrian Tsunami Fund

As the KL Grand Prix CSI 5* is the only major international equestrian event in the Tsunami Disaster area it seemed fitting that the organizers, Asiapromote, should initiate a global equestrian tsunami fund to help save some lives and give hope and the chance for a future to some of the millions affected in our region by the tragedy.

Equestrians are generally a part of the lucky society. This is the opportunity for the world’s equestrians and horse lovers and those involved with the business of horses to make a direct contribution as a group and to make a special difference.

The executive council of the fund includes FEI President HRH The Infanta Dona Pilar de Borbon and together we implore you to support this fund as the world’s equestrian community. We need to raise millions to build the school, orphanages and supply the medical needs of our group of orphaned Aceh children over the long term. Though we are working with the most respected organizations we do not want to simply pour money into already huge disappearing funds. We will focus on projects which will belong to the Equestrian world, for all to see and to know where and how and for whom our contribution is helping.

3. Please send a letter, email or whatever it takes to all your members and associates to help us reach every equestrian around the globe and ask them to help individually.
