The Samsung Super League Supporters Club

The Samsung Super League Supporters Club was established in 2003 with the aim of providing local show jumping enthusiasts in each host country the opportunity to enjoy Samsung Super League events with great entertainment on behalf of Samsung Electronics. This theme is in line with Samsung’s philosophy of supporting international sporting events thereby returning corporate profits to the local people and working towards a more harmonious and equitable society.

Once invited and registered, all Samsung Super League Supporters Club members are given free admission, reserved seating, giveaway items, and lunch. Members are also grouped into different competing nations and provided with flags of their respective country to support their designated Samsung Super League team. Below you will find information on Supporters Club activities:

• Mini Parade
Prior to the Parade of Nations during the opening ceremony, Supporters Club members walk the perimeter of the arena waving flags from the country they are supporting. Each country has its own cheerleader who facilitates the cheering activities of members.

• Nation’s Flag Cascade
The Samsung Super League Supporters tribune is a venue of great visual activity during the opening ceremony and huge montage flags are unfurled and passed down through the cheering crowd as each competitor enters the arena. These activities continue throughout the competition spurring the riders to achieve the best result possible for their respective nation.

• Winning Team Supporters Prize
Supporters Club members have another good reason to shout for their team as supporters from the winning team will each take home a Samsung Yepp MP3 Player.

• Face Painting
To show their strong support for their team, Supporters Club members have the opportunity to have their faces painted in the colours of their country flag before the parade.

The enthusiasm of the SSL Supporters Club without doubt contributes significantly to the atmosphere and dramatic spectacle of Samsung Super League events.
