Chief Executive Officer for the 2008 Olympic Equestrian Events in Hong Kong 
 
An independent company set up specifically for organizing and staging the 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian Events in Hong Kong is looking for a Chief Executive Officer to head the operation of the company.

Potential candidates must possess at least:
- A recognized university degree;
- Over 20 years of managerial experience at senior level. Experience in organizing large-scale international events is an added advantage;
- Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the Hong Kong situation, in particular the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the sports sector in Hong Kong;
- Proven leadership and organizational ability with excellent strategic planning skills and strong political acumen;
- Adept communication and negotiation skills;
- Proficient in written English and Chinese, and fluent in spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua; and
- Knowledge of equestrian sport will be an advantage.

The annual salary package will be around HK$2.2M (HK$7.8 = US$1), depending on qualification and experience. For further details, please visit www.equestriancommittee.gov.hk.

Applicants should provide in their resumes full details of their managerial experience, and experience in organizing major events and knowledge in equestrian sports, if any. Applicants, if invited, shall attend the interviews in Hong Kong at their own costs.
