New President for the FEI Jumping Owner's Club

The FEI is pleased to announce that a new President for the FEI Jumping Owner’s Club has been appointed: Mr. Carles Vilarrubí Carrió (ESP), a successful businessman involved in Telecom, Media, Hotels and Investment banking Sectors. Mr. Vilarrubí is closely linked to jumping, given that he owns a jumping stable based in the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona where his wife, daughter and a professional rider compete with the horses. Indeed, his daughter, Carlota, is regularly a member of the Spanish Junior Team and competed in the latest FEI European Jumping Championships for Young Riders and Juniors in Athens. While Jesus Garmendia, the professional rider attached to the stables, has been a member of the Spanish Team and participated in the last World Championships in Aachen.

The aim of an International Jumping Owners’ Club is to provide a service to the owners of horses participating at international jumping events. Indeed, the FEI Jumping Owner’s Club has the following for objectives:
To foster interest in the discipline of Jumping;
To provide members with information, advice and assistance on matters connected with the Jumping discipline in general;
To arrange discussions and meetings;
