Alvaro Becker on Mambo wins first place for Mexico in Group 2 
 
The 2004 edition of the FEI World Jumping Challenge supported by PSI, Group 2, ended on August 22 in Bayamon - Puerto Rico.

A hundred riders in Category A and 26 in Category B belonging to five national federations (COL, CRC, GUA, MEX, PUR) took part in the 2004 FEI World Jumping Challenge.

An average of 200 to 250 spectators by country applauded riders performing courses designed by FEI Course Designer, Javier Fernandez (VEN). The competitions went well in the whole, thanks to the good organizations.

Alvaro Becker riding Mambo won the Category A in Mexico with 0 fault and 101.40 seconds and took the lead of Group 2 ranking. His compatriot Armando Hassey with Canada arrived in second position in both country's and Group 2 classifications. According to the formula, they are therefore both qualified for the 2004 FEI/PSI World Jumping Challenge Final.

In Group 2, Category B (CRC, GUA, PUR), Adrian Nuñez (PUR) with Tilt won the first place of the Group with 0 fault and 117.43 seconds, ahead of Karla Muñoz (CRC) on "Marfil" with 0 fault and 126.47 seconds.
