FEI Executive Board met in Athens 
 
The Executive Board met on 23 August at the Olympic venue in Marcopoulo, Athens. Among the various topics of discussions and decisions were the following:

ALLOCATIONS

- 2005 FEI World Cup Final Eventing
The Executive Board agreed to allocate next years Final of the FEI Eventing World Cupto Malmö (SWE). The dates will be confirmed at a later stage.

- 2006 FEI World Cup Final Jumping
Following previous discussions and the preliminary allocation of the 2006 FEI World Cup Final in Jumping to Kuala Lumpur (MAS) made at its June meeting, the Executive Board gave further consideration to the candidature and the working agreement with the Kuala Lumpur organisers. The organisers having now fully accepted the FEI technical and commercial requirements, the Executive Board confirmed in principle the allocation of the 2006 FEI World Cup Final to Kuala Lumpur.

- 2005 Central Asia Senior Jumping and Dressage Championships
The Executive Board agreed to allocate the above Championships to Almaty (KAZ) to be held from 9 to 12 June.

- 2005 North America Seniors Endurance Championship
The Executive Board agreed to allocate the above Championship to Elton, Maryland (USA) to take place on 15 October.

WORLD EQUESTRIAN GAMES
2010 FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG)
The Executive Board took note of the three candidatures for the 2010 WEG submitted by Kentucky (USA), Basse-Normandie (FRA) and Abu Dhabi/Dubai/Sharjah (UAE). The deadline for presenting the complete bids was confirmed for 15 October 2004.

FEI WORLD CUP DRESSAGE
Modifications to the FEI World Cup Dressage Rules
On the recommendation of the Dressage Committee, the Executive Board after thorough consideration approved the proposed modifications to the FEI World Cup Dressage Rules. The modifications will be published in the next FEI Bulletin and on the FEI website.

NEW OWNER'S TROPHY
Best Owner of the Year Award
The Executive Board approved the introduction of the Best Owner of the Year Award to be presented to the most successful owner of the year in Jumping. The Award for the 2004 season will be presented at the FEI 2005 General Assembly.

The next meeting of the Executive Board will take on 5 October 2004 in London (GBR).
