FEI EUROPEAN JUMPING CHAMPIONSHIP TIMETABLE NOW AVAILABLE
At the conclusion of their meeting in San Patrignano (ITA), the FEI Technical Delegate Jon Doney, the President of the Organising Committee Giacomo Muccioli, the show director Eleonora Ottaviani, and the technical advisor Emile Hendrix presented the schedule for the 2005 FEI European Jumping Championship. The event, which will take place at the community’s equestrian centre, will be held from 20 to 25 July 2005.

The participants will have their first chance to test the footing and the fences in the arena on Wednesday 20 July, at the training session. The competition will officially begin on Thursday 21 at 4:15pm with a round against the clock (Tab. C). On Friday 22, (from 8:00am to 11:15am and then from 5:00pm to 7:30pm) there will be two rounds to determine the team medallists and the top 25 horse and rider pairs which will qualify for Sunday’s individual finals. The final individual competition will be run in two rounds (4:00pm –5:00pm and 6:00pm to 7:00pm) to determine the new European Champion.

Two competitions will take place during the show in addition to the classes for the European Championship. On Thursday, 21 July at 8:30pm a competition will be run for which each team’s reserve rider will be eligible. In addition, the “Vincenzo Muccioli Challenge” will be held on Saturday 23 in two rounds (4:00pm -5:00pm and 6:00pm-7:00pm). This Grand Prix is open to those horse and rider combinations which placed outside the top twenty-five on Friday.
