WANTED: Who's got Chardon's Top Hat?

Triple World Four-in-Hand Champion Ijsbrand Chardon from the Netherlands is looking for his grey top hat. The hat, together with his full four-in-hand equipment, was in his caravan, which was stolen from his yard in the night from 29 to 30 August 2004.

Chardon would like to compete this coming weekend at a combined driving event in Deurne, but needs a number of items from the caravan. "I am facing a big problem, because literally everything was in the caravan," explains Chardon. "My grey top hat, with which I have become three times World Champion, but also the black top hats of my grooms, jodhpurs, boots, jackets, gloves, Musto rain clothes, aprons, stopwatches, fly hats, helmets, caps, everything. I cannot compete without a number of these things. The thieves will furthermore not be able to sell or use many of the items, because all clothes are embroidered with the Greenery logo."

Ijsbrand Chardon asks anyone who can give him more information about his slightly damaged Knaus caravan (Dutch license plate WK-41-YZ) and its contents to contact him at:             +31 15 2615055      .
