However, with regards to the Western European League, the first event is just around the corner. Below you will find some pertinent information relating to the 2006/2007 FEI World Cup™ series for the three disciplines, so as to make this new season all the more enjoyable.

Two years have passed, and the FEI World Cup Dressage Final finds itself again side by side with the FEI World Cup™ Jumping Final to be held in Las Vegas from 19 – 22 April 2007. Indeed, in 2005, the FEI Budweiser World Cup Jumping Final and the FEI World Cup Dressage Final, presented by Offield Farms, were held simultaneously in the same location for the first time in history. Attendance topped 90,000 (90,221 to be exact) as equestrian sports fans turned out in record numbers to share in the excitement. After the record-breaking success of the 2005 Finals in Las Vegas, there is little doubt that the 2006/2007 will generate yet again unprecedented success.

FEI World Cup™ Driving

The 2006/2007 FEI World Cup™ Driving season is set to begin on 26 October in Hannover (GER). In the 2005/2006 a new system was introduced with regards to the FEI World Cup ™ Driving Final, whereby all qualified drivers start from scratch and in essence have to battle it out thus adding to the suspense and atmosphere and providing for top level sport. This new system has been unanimously accepted and endorsed and will apply to the 2006/2007 season.

The 2006/2007 season saw an increase in the number of outdoor qualifying events, although the number of competitions that count to the Driver’s points total remains the same at four. Below you will find the 2006/2007 FEI World Cup™ Driving Calendar.
