Welcome to the FEI Governance Highlights section of the FEI Annual Report 2023, dedicated to providing an overview of the major milestones of the year from a governance perspective.

In 2023, our time and energy were once again turned towards thoroughly discussing the future of our sport, the challenges facing the equine industry, and how to continue growing in a positive manner. Below you will find, in a nutshell, the major initiatives, meetings and projects put in place by FEI Headquarters in relation to education, commercial activities and technology related initiatives, to name a few. Many of these topics are accessible in greater detail in the dedicated sections of this Annual Report, which I hope you will have the pleasure of exploring.

I would like to offer a big vote of thanks to the FEI Family as well as our stakeholders. Our ability to stand strong is the fruit of a collective effort in which each and every one in our community plays an essential role in making our sport the best it can be. I have revisited some of the highlights of 2023 and hope you will enjoy looking back on what has been another eventful and memorable year for our sport.
