FEI Vaulting

A form of athletic artistry, Vaulting is a youthful celebration of gymnastics on horseback that demands acrobatic skill and precision, combined with grace and creativity. The result is pure theatre: exciting, entertaining and alive.

FEI World and European Vaulting Championships

Vaulting youth experienced a tough 2020, as they had to go through the year without a single event or championship. Having the possibility to showcase talent at this age is very important, just as it is to get a first feel for championship ambiance and pressure, at all levels. Due to Covid-19, the FEI Vaulting European Championships for Juniors in Flyinge (SWE) had to be cancelled.

Senior vaulters were also severely impacted. Not only did they see their dream of a medal at the FEI World Championship in Flyinge dissipate, the pandemic led to a cancellation of all events throughout the year since the Masterclass in Leipzig in January.
