Dear National Federations, Colleagues and Friends,
I hope you are all well and ready to tackle this New Year with passion and determination. I am writing to you on behalf and in support of JustWorld International, which as you know was designated an FEI Official Charity Partner in 2019.
JustWorld International works through the international equestrian community to fund and sustain projects that provide basic needs to children with little opportunity to receive support from other sources and the FEI is very proud to support their equestrian charity programmes. JustWorld also does important educational work in various areas throughout the globe.
Needless to say, 2020 and the impact of Covid-19 has been challenging for our entire society and of course the equestrian community. It has indeed been a very difficult year for so many people and it is precisely in these difficult times that solidarity is needed, more than ever before.
Like all of us, JustWorld has had to adapt its initiatives to more virtual concepts as travelling and gatherings of many people are not possible for the time being. But the needs of the community supported by JustWorld are still there, and if anything they have been amplified by the pandemic and the economic and social repercussions.
JustWorld has been inventive and created different possibilities to allow continued support of their projects in a Covid-19 proof way as the safety and health of our community is everyone’s first priority. I am happy to highlight the JustWorld Global Gala, which is set to take place on 29 January – and which of course you are all invited to attend - simply click here for more information.
We fully support the initiatives that our Official Charity Partner JustWorld International is undertaking to provide basic needs for children that are less fortunate than we are. We invite you to have a look at these initiatives and in particular some of the possibilities available to you to show your support in this time of great need.
Many thanks in advance and kind regards,
Ingmar De Vos
