Sport Specific Information
When and where did you begin this sport? He took up vaulting at age 10.
Why this sport? "I started vaulting after trying many other sports, but every time I soon got tired of what I was doing. Vaulting was different, maybe because it united my desire of exercise with the passion for animals. I started when I was 10, after seeing a show, and I have never stopped."
Club / Team Club Ippico Monzese: Villasanta di Monza, ITA
Name of coach Daniele Dall'Ora [national]; Laura Carnabuci [personal]
Training Regime "My training varies depending on whether we work with the horse or not. When we have a horse session I warm up for about an hour, both on the barrel and with fitness exercises, focusing especially on what I want to train on in that session. Then we usually work for a couple of hours with two different horses and in the end more fitness and stretching. It takes at least four hours."
