A LATE STARTER
Although Irving has been a lifelong rider and competitor, she says she began to take training more seriously after her children left home in 2008. She made her FEI competition debut as a 50-year-old in 2013.
GIVING BACK
In 2015 she established the Canadian Youth Equestrian Mentorship Program. The scheme offers opportunities to Canadian equestrians between the ages of 16 and 21, such as the chance to attend training camps in Wellington, FL, United States of America.
