When and where did you begin this sport? | She began gymnastics at age four, and then discovered vaulting at age 11. "I've always loved acrobatics and jumping around." |
Why this sport? | She discovered vaulting by chance after she accompanied a friend to a lesson. "Until then I did not know the world of the horses. I had gone casually to the riding school where I met my trainer Nelson, who invited me to try and from there my love towards this discipline began. It felt natural to me right away. Performing complex gymnastic figures on a horse in motion is a challenge that develops balance and coordination." |
Name of coach | Daniele Dall'Ora [national]; Nelson Vidoni [personal], ITA, from 1997 |

Sporting philosophy / motto | "I recommend vaulting to all parents for their children. It combines physical exercise with the establishment of relationships - with humans and with the animal. This is important because it teaches how to start and manage relationships in general. Twirling on a horse builds confidence and self-esteem, and working in a team creates solidarity among teammates and the spirit of competition." (fise.it, 04 May 2011) |
