STABLES
He and his partner, Dutch dressage rider Edward Gal, ride for Glock Horse Performance Centre Netherlands. "The confidence that Glock brings to us is invaluable. That does not alter the fact that we are still working hard. We have a very big responsibility to keep this beautiful stable running and in the end it just has to be earned, because it remains a business." FAREWELL TO CHAMPION STALLION
His stallion, Glock's Romanov, was put down in February 2020 owing to health issues arising from pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction. The pair won team silver together at the 2013 European Championships in Herning, Denmark. "It's desperately sad and yet, at the same time, you know it's right. Romanov was a really special stallion. Simply fantastic to ride and it was such a wonderful feeling to have the privilege of sitting in his saddle. We had lots of successful competitions and I will miss him so much."
