Athletes competing in the Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping North American League will battle it out for a spot at Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Final Omaha 2017 at the league’s last qualifier in Ocala March 12, 2017.

A plantation of nearly 5,000 acres in the heart of central Florida’s horse country will host the $100,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Ocala during the March 9–12, 2017 Live Oak International.

The qualifier for the Final in Omaha, Nebraska, March 29–April 2 is the highlight of the Ocala competition. Nine countries will be represented. Big names taking part include Olympic individual bronze medalist Cian O’Connor of Ireland and Great Britain’s Olympic team gold medalist Ben Maher. Americans are, of course, the most numerous, with crowd favorites including Georgina Bloomberg, Todd Minikus, Margie Engle, Leslie Howard and 2016 champion Marilyn Little.

In addition to the final qualifier of the Longines FEI World Cup™ North American League, Live Oak International will feature an array of jumping competitions and driving—from singles to four-in-hands—in this unique two-sport fixture. This is the 26th year of Live Oak, named for the trees hung with silvery Spanish moss that give the property its unique atmosphere. Jumping in Live Oak’s vast turf arena has become increasingly popular with athletes coming from the Winter Equestrian Festival three hours away, as well as the nearby HITS show.
