The documents outline the possible pathways available to international officials within the FEI. They explain the various levels of education and corresponding requirements for courses, seminars and promotion.

Course Organisation

Types of Courses

Judges

Course Level I – Combined Course 1 (1,5 – 2 Days)

Mandatory for all National Judge for promotion as Judge Level 2. A course is valid for 3 years.

Course Level II (2 Days)

Mandatory for all Level 2 Judge for promotion as Judge Level 3 and refreshment every 3 years. A course is valid for 3 years.

Mandatory for all Level 3 Judge for promotion as Judge Level 4 and refreshment every 3 years. A course is valid for 3 years.

Technical Delegates

Course Level I – Combined Course 1 (1,5 – 2 Days)

Mandatory for all National Technical Delegate for promotion as Technical Delegate Level 2. A course is valid for 3 years.

Course Level II (2 Days)

Mandatory for all Level 2 Technical Delegate for promotion as Level 3 Technical Delegate and refreshment every 3 years. A course is valid for 3 years.

Mandatory for all Level 3 Technical Delegate for promotion as Level 4 Technical Delegate and refreshment every 3 years. A course is valid for 3 years.

Course Designers

Course Level I – Combined Course 1 (1,5 – 2 Days)

Mandatory for all National Course Designer for promotion as Course Designer Level 2. A course is valid for 3 years.

Course Level II (2 Days)

Mandatory for all Level 2 Course Designer for promotion as Level 3 Course Designer and refreshment every 3 years. A course is valid for 3 years.

Mandatory for all Level 3 Course Designer for promotion as Level 4 Course Designer and refreshment every 3 years. A course is valid for 3 years.

Stewards

Course for Steward (1 – 2 Days)

Mandatory for all Stewards Level 1 to 3 for promotion and refreshment every 3 years. A course is valid for 3 years. 

Minimum Requirements for Course Organisation

National Federations wishing to host a course are kindly requested to refer to the checklist summarising the minimum requirements for course organisation.

Course Application

National Federations must apply to the Driving Department for all courses they wish to host in 2017. The deadline for returning invitation is set to 2 months before the course.

A provisional budget must be submitted with each application.

All courses are open to Officials from all countries.

Applying for FEI Subventions

National Federations who organise an Endurance Course for Officials can apply for FEI Subventions.

What are the requirements?

  • Send to the FEI the Invitation in due time
  • Send to the FEI the provisional budget
  • Precise in the email accompanying the application that you are applying for a subvention

The amount of the subvention will be decided by the FEI.

The subvention will be delivered after the Course and after receiving the Course Director Report.   

The subvention is a credit note.
