Asian Indoors and Martial Arts Games

History

OCA held the first Asian Indoor Games in 2005 in Bangkok, the second AIG in Macau in 2007 and the third AIG in Hanoi in 2009.
After three editions, however, OCA decided to merge the Asian Indoor Games with the Asian Martial Arts Games, which was held for the first - and, as it happened, the last – time in Bangkok in 2009.
This merger created the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which will be held every four years starting from 2013.
The 4th AIMAG took place in Incheon, Korea, in 2013 as a test event for the 17th Asian Games in 2014.
The next and 5th AIMAG has been awarded to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, in 2017 where Jumping will be represented.
